Now I’m no expert in brushless motor technology so here’s the word from the professionals on the major benefits of brushless motor technology:

I did a test where I pushed through a few 100mm 10g screws into pine and hardwood, using the same battery, and set at the highest torque setting on each model, and there was a definite noticeable difference in the power.

Apart from the increase in power, the thing I love about this model is the 13mm METAL Keyless Chuck. Yes METAL. I wish more drills had this higher quality feature like this one has. This chuck feels like being back in my apprentice days. There were no plastic chucks back then.

It’s hard doing a review of yet another cordless drill. There are just so many to choose from now in the market place, and at the end of the day, they all basically do the same thing… drill holes and drive screws.
