Good, Old Fashioned, Handmade Craftsmanship

I love watching a talented craftsman working at his trade, especially when the work is being created using traditional methods and old hand tools. The older the better.

I have recently been watching a few videos on Vimeo showing just that. Talented people who love their craft, alone in their workshop, producing amazing quality products, without a computer anywhere in site.

Making a table out of reclaimed timber is one thing, but what these get up to is something truly special. The time and effort they put in to creating one thing as perfectly as possible is quite inspiring.
