Roof Tile Solar Panels

Here is a great environmentally friendly building product.

Why have solar panels added onto your roof when the actual roof tiles themselves can be the solar panels and collect all the energy you need.

“instead of having a huge solar panel system fixed to the roof, this new system has actually built the solar panels into roof tiles, which will make the whole process easier and much more secure as the tiles are actually built into the roof instead of on the roof as with conventional solar power systems”

There have been four major partnerships this past month between solar CIGS developers and roofing material manufacturers. Expect the prices to drop considerably. Plus add in any energy credits, energy savings and we will be seeing these more and more on our roofs.

Very good article! I appreciate your post on energy saving techniques. I agree that we need to generally use less electricity and also acknowledge that a site such as Switch Wise would be very useful to the readers of this site in finding ways to save money on electricity.

I enjoy reading all the articles on this site. Very useful information. I’m definitely going to check out those video tutorials you suggest. They’re not that expensive so it’s definitely worth it in my opinion. The company I work for uses wind generators and I know it’s been beneficial for them, so I’ve been looking into solar energy for my home and this is just what I’ve been looking for.
